Since 2003, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and the Sleep Research Society (SRS) have been hosting the Discovering the Secrets of Sleep Fundraising Dinner. This event was both a celebration of sleep research and an opportunity for sleep professionals to show their support for the field. For the first time this year, the AASM and the SRS will be hosting a Welcome to San Antonio Fundraising Reception to allow participants to network with other SLEEP 2010 attendees while experiencing the flavor of San Antonio.

All proceeds raised by the reception support the grant programs of the American Sleep Medicine Foundation (ASMF) and the Sleep Research Society Foundation. A highlight of the evening will be the announcement and introduction of the scientists who are receiving research grants from the two foundations.
