Grant Opportunities

The American Sleep Medicine Foundation (ASMF) awards grants to support the work of research scientists who investigate the nature of sleep and sleep disorders. Grant selection is based on an evaluation of proposals by experts who are appointed by the ASMF. Each investigator in an ASMF-funded study must provide a conflict of interest disclosure. Submission Deadline: January 17, 2012

Humanitarian Projects Award
For projects that address sleep problems and sleep education needs in disadvantaged or underserved populations.

Educational Projects Award

Strategic Research Award


Submission Deadline: January 25, 2012

Bridge to K Research Award
Providing 'bridge funding' to promising sleep scientists who have applied for a K grant from NIH, who need additional time and resources to collect further data and respond to NIH critique, increasing the chances of a successful K grant resubmission to NIH.

ASMF Grant Contract

The ASMF requests that all research applicants review the sample grant contract prior to completion and submission of an application. If grant is awarded, recipients are required to follow the terms of this contract in its original form. All terms and conditions are final and non-negotiable.
